POLYCURE NATUROIL 1440 Sports Gloss is a premium single-pack, clear oil-based coating designed for application on bare interior timber floors. It enhances and protects the natural appearance of wood while delivering a durable, high-performance finish. With excellent flow and levelling properties, it is ideally suited for sports flooring applications such as basketball courts, gymnasiums, netball courts, and multi-purpose halls.

Surface Preparation:

  1. Fill nail holes with water-based putty and allow to dry.
  2. Sand uncoated timber with 120–150 grit sandpaper or screenback pad until uniformly smooth and dull.
  3. Vacuum thoroughly to remove all dust.
  4. Ensure surface remains clean and undamaged prior to coating.

Mixing:
Stir thoroughly before use.

Application Tools:

  • 6mm lint-free mohair or microfibre roller
  • Weighted applicator bar (optional)
  • High-quality brush for cutting in

Application Instructions:

  1. Apply first coat of NATUROIL 1440 Sports to allow penetration and base formation.
  2. If line marking is required, allow minimum 24 hours drying time and test compatibility.
  3. Apply second coat and allow to dry for approximately 16 hours. Light sanding (150–180 grit) is recommended for optimal adhesion if drying exceeds 24 hours.
  4. Line marking may be applied after first or second coat if compatible.
  5. Apply final coat for a durable sports flooring finish.
