WAKOL D 3540 is a high-performance, water-based contact adhesive designed specifically for the installation of cork flooring and cork wall coverings. It provides a strong, long-lasting bond on both absorbent and non-absorbent substrates, making it suitable for a wide range of interior applications.
This solvent-free, low-emission adhesive is engineered for professional use, delivering high initial grab and excellent working properties. It is also suitable for use with underfloor heating systems and can withstand load from chair castors.

Technical Specification
Area of application: Latex adhesive for laying cork tiles according to DIN EN 12104 with non-treated or treated surface on absorbent and non-absorbent subfloors. Also suitable for cork wall coverings, textile flooring, linoleum, caoutchouc flooring and deflectors. WAKOL D 3540 corresponds to DIN EN ISO 22636.
Application method: WAKOL Primer Roller or velours roller on cork wall coverings, for carpet floorings with brush or trowel notch size according to TKB A1, A2 or A3
Consumption: minimum 250 g/m² for laying cork, otherwise 150-650 g/m²
Airing time: approx. 30-45 minutes on absorbent subfloors, approx. 60-90 minutes on non-absorbent subfloors and on the back of the floor covering.
Open time: approx. 120-180 minutes, with pre-coating approx. 60-90 minutes.
Storage: not below +5 °C, sensitive to frost.
Base: latex/acrylate dispersion.
