Kitchen Timber Oil contains clear natural tung oil for nourishing and protecting timber benches, cutting boards, salad bowls and all interior timber. When Kitchen Timber Oil is dry, it gives a natural matt finish that is resistant to water and spills.
Kitchen Timber Oil can be easily maintained as the timber starts to show signs of drying out; there’s no need to sand the surface, maintenance coats can just be wiped on once surface is clean and dry.

How to prepare your timber for Feast Watson Kitchen Timber Oil:
Prep is the first step to your new kitchen look...
- Ensure your surface is clean, dry, and free from dirt, grease, oil, wax and mould.
- Sand it back to a smooth surface, and remove any leftover sanding dust.
- If your timber has been previously coated, no worries. Just ensure that the surface is thoroughly stripped and sanded back to bare timber.
Application
How to apply Feast Watson Kitchen Timber Oil:
- Stir Kitchen Timber Oil gently prior to use, with a flat blade stirrer.
- Apply a liberal coat of Kitchen Timber Oil to your timber with a brush, roller or clean cloth. Ensure the surface is evenly covered.
- Leave Kitchen Timber Oil to soak into timber for approximately 45 - 60 minutes, then wipe off any excess product with a clean cloth.
- Allow approximately 24 hours to dry between coats.
- Apply a second coat of Kitchen Timber Oil by following the application process outlined above. Allow a minimum of 24 hours to dry.
To stain your benchtop, add up to a maximum of 10% Prooftint to Kitchen Timber Oil.
