POLYCURE NATUROIL 3100 Gloss Oil Modified 10L

POLYCURE NATUROIL 3100 Gloss is a premium single-pack, clear oil-modified floor coating designed to enhance and protect the natural appearance of interior timber and parquetry flooring. Its oil-based formulation provides a warm, natural finish while reducing the risk of edge bonding on tongue-and-groove floors, making it ideal for applications where timber movement or stability may be a concern.

Suitable for domestic and light commercial interior flooring, NATUROIL 3100 delivers an easy-to-apply system with excellent flow and levelling, resulting in a smooth, durable gloss finish that enhances timber without appearing overly “plastic”.

Surface Preparation:

1. Fill all nail holes with a suitable water-based timber putty and allow to dry.
2. Sand uncoated floors using 120–150 grit sandpaper or screenback pad until uniformly dull and smooth.
3. Vacuum thoroughly to remove all dust and debris.
4. Avoid scratching or contaminating the prepared surface prior to coating.

Mixing:
Stir thoroughly before use.

Application Tools:

• 6mm mohair roller
• High-quality brush for cutting in

Application Instructions:

1. Apply a liberal first coat of NATUROIL 3100 or FASTASEAL 3030/3540 using a 6mm mohair roller and brush.
2. If FASTASEAL is used, allow approximately 45 minutes drying time before sanding. For other coatings, allow a minimum of 16 hours.
3. Sand thoroughly using 150–180 grit paper or screenback to remove nibs and raised grain. Vacuum all dust.
4. Apply a second coat of NATUROIL 3100 and allow to dry for at least 16 hours.
5. Sand again using 150–180 grit screenback, clean thoroughly, and remove all dust.
6. Apply the final coat of NATUROIL 3100 Gloss for a durable, high-quality finish.
